Ramappa Engineering College is one of the premiere engineering colleges established in the year 1999. Initially in an atmosphere at Mahaboobabad town, Warangal district. The campus occupies a sprawling 40 acres of land with a view to provide quality engineering education with enhanced facilities and also to make institution reachable to all the engineering aspirants in and around the historical district of Warangal regio., The college was shifted in the year 2005 to its present Hunter Road Hanamkonda. Ramappa Engineering College is affiliated to Jawharlal Nehru Technology University(JNTU), Approved by AICTE and is recognized by the Government of Andhra Pradesh.
